Complete watch care
A meticulous process designed to restore the performance, appearance and reliability of your timepiece.
Complete service and overhaul
When we receive your watch for a complete service, the watch and its movement are carefully disassembled. The delicate movement components are inspected and ultrasonically cleaned. If we discover parts that require replacement because of excessive wear, we notify you before additional work is performed.
The crystal, crown and caseback are inspected for defects that may compromise water resistance. Gaskets and seals are replaced with genuine parts specific to the watch brand whenever those parts are available.
The service process
A complete service addresses both the movement inside the watch and the exterior components that protect it.
The watch and movement are disassembled, and every component is examined for damage or excessive wear.
Movement components are thoroughly cleaned so old lubricant and residue can be removed before reassembly.
Approved worn parts are replaced. The movement is reassembled and lubricated, and the necessary gaskets and seals are renewed.
The case and bracelet are refinished to restore their original luster and brilliance while respecting their shape and details.
The watch is timed for accuracy and pressure-tested for water resistance in accordance with the applicable specifications.
Why routine service matters
A mechanical watch is made up of hundreds of moving parts, many of which depend on lubrication to function efficiently. Over time, lubricants deteriorate and can create residue that affects performance and increases wear within the movement.
Regular service helps your watch perform at its best and can prevent unnecessary damage. Changes in accuracy, reduced power reserve or unusual winding and setting behavior are all reasons to have your watch evaluated.
Modern and vintage watches
We specialize in fine Swiss watches as well as older models from makers such as Rolex, Breitling, Omega and TAG Heuer. Manufacturers may decline to service certain older watches when parts or materials have been discontinued. We welcome the opportunity to evaluate vintage timepieces and explain the available options.
